About the Business:
Our clients is manufacturer of shower trays . They’ve been designing, innovating and producing trays from their base for nearly 30 years, cementing their position as the UK’s number one shower tray manufacturer.
About The Role:
Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Team Leader will assume management and operational responsibility for teams of Production Operators. The jobholder will manage team performance to help ensure that department targets are met. This encompasses not only manufacturing targets but also quality assurance and other performance measures.
Salary - £28,000 DOB
Monday to Friday, rotating shift:
* Days – 06:15-14:15
* Nights – 22:15-06:15
* Afternoons – 14:15-22:15
When working Nights they get an extra £15 night allowance per night.
Roles and Responsibilities:
To assist in the implementation and maintenance of housekeeping and safe working practices within the production area
To provide direction and guidance to production team members.
To coordinate materials; to allocate work; and to enable people to work effectively
To understand the strengths and weaknesses of team members and use this to develop a training plan.
To ensure the effective training and development of team members.
To assist in solving problems and resolving conflicts.
To adhere to the ISO9001 Quality systems and standards that are in place and be aware of the ISO14001 Environmental Standards.
To be accountable for Product Quality produced by the production team.
