Camino Search is currently engaged with a fantastic Software platform that is looking to bring in an interim Financial Controller to join the CFO and finance function. The business has venture capital support and is looking to grow rapidly over the next 2 to 3 years.


Contract Length - 3 - 6 Months.


Role Overview:

As the Interim Financial Controller, you will lead the controllership function, overseeing all financial reporting and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting our ambitious growth plans and maintaining the trust of our investors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and other regulatory accounting standards.
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
  • Support tax planning and compliance activities.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A team to provide accurate financial data for budgeting and forecasting.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • A qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) is essential.
  • Experience within the software or technology sector is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
