About The Job

As our Social Media and Communications Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s online presence and engagement strategy. You will manage and execute our social media and communications activities, working closely with the content creation and marketing team to ensure our messaging is consistent, compelling, and aligns with our corporate goals. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to different platforms and audiences will be key to driving our brand's success.


Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management: Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across all social media platforms, ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines and appeals to our target audiences.

Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to develop creative and impactful social media posts, blogs, and other communication materials.

Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages promptly, and foster positive relationships with our clients and prospects.

Campaign Support: Assist in the execution of social media campaigns, including paid ads, contests, and promotions, to boost brand visibility and engagement.

Internal Communications: Support internal communications by crafting and distributing company updates, newsletters, and announcements.

Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyse social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve engagement and reach.

Crisis Management: Assist in managing and mitigating any social media crises, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.

Brand Voice and Consistency: Maintain and enhance the brand’s voice across all communications, ensuring consistency and clarity in messaging.

Industry Monitoring: Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our strategies fresh and effective

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Bring to IMSM?

  • 3 years of experience in social media management or a similar role
  • Proven experience in social media management and communications, ideally in a B2B or professional services environment
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling on-brand content
  • Experience with social media tools and analytics platforms, such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Google Analytics
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and audience engagement
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently when needed
  • Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles
  • Relevant certification or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred but not required.
