We are now recruiting for a Social Media Content Creator to join our Brand team, in a permanent role, working full-time at our Swindon offices located on key transport links in the town centre.

**Role context and purpose**:
Working in the Brand Marketing team, the Social Media Content Creator will assist the team in the planning, execution and optimisation of BCS’ digital marketing strategies; aimed at increasing brand awareness, audience engagement and activation opportunities in support of business goals and objectives.

To craft creative, exciting and engaging content that supports the BCS digital marketing strategy, including social media, PPC, and SEO.

To provide social media support for the Education & Public Benefit team; including planning, creating and scheduling captivating content for our Computing At School (CAS) and Barefoot social accounts to achieve follower growth and community engagement targets.

To work in collaboration with key stakeholders across BCS, including the Experience Design team and marketing manager community to ensure social media content delivers exceptional brand experiences and optimal impact for the business.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Support the implementation of the BCS digital marketing strategy to maximise the overall impact of BCS digital communications. This will include:

- Supporting the digital implementation of BCS marcomms plans across the business, with a focus on our Computing at School (CAS) and Barefoot campaigning and engagement activity.
- Creating eye-catching and compelling content for BCS’ key social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok), developing captivating posts and stories that attract and engage target audiences.
- Championing diversity and inclusion across all our digital marketing activity. proactively seeking out diverse perspectives and stories.
- Liaising with external and internal suppliers when required, including content collaborators and social influencers.

If you have a strong passion and enthusiasm for digital marketing/social media and can demonstrate your successes through your personal or work experience, we'd love to consider you. It would be an advantage to have experience in the following:

- A marketing or social media role;
- Managing social media platforms and building follower growth and engagement;
- Working collaboratively with teams/stakeholders to deliver successful business outcomes.

**Special conditions**:

- May be required on occasion to attend off-site meetings / events or work outside office hours.
