What the day will look like
- Analyse and evaluate new and existing claims in line with required SLA's
- Respond promptly to enquiries from clients, brokers and service providers by telephone, in writing and in person
- Accurately assess and maintain appropriate reserves on claims
- Comply with claims systems and procedures
- Follow claims settlement procedures in accordance with established guidelines and authorise settlements within claims handling authority
- Update and maintain accurate information and data throughout the life cycle of the claim
- To represent AUM (AON Underwriting Managers) Claims in meetings with underwriters, insurers and clients as may be require
- Competent in Microsoft Office and primarily Excel and Word
- ACII or Part Qualified/A level education or equivalent an advantage
- Experienced and knowledgeable claims technician with Liability and/or Property, claims experience. Lloyds and London Market knowledge including CLASS and ECF an advantage. Excellent communications and organisational skills. Sound negotiator
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, reliable and enthusiastic
