About the Role:

As a NOC Monitoring Engineer, you will help ensure the stability, availability, and performance of our digital networks across Europe.

You will monitor systems, address incidents, and resolve issues quickly to maintain optimal performance and uptime.

The role involves real-time network monitoring and prompt responses to system alerts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor Systems: Oversee network infrastructure, servers, applications, and other systems using monitoring tools.
  2. Incident Response: Detect and respond to network or system alerts. Escalate incidents to relevant teams when needed.
  3. Troubleshooting: Conduct initial diagnosis and troubleshooting of network issues to minimize downtime.
  4. Documentation: Record all issues and actions taken in the ticketing system.
  5. Collaboration: Work with technical teams, including Network Engineers and System Administrators, to solve complex issues.
  6. Reporting: Provide periodic reports on network performance and incidents.
  7. Process Improvement: Propose and implement enhancements to monitoring and response procedures.
  8. Change Management: Support in planning and implementing upgrades or migrations.
  9. On-call Support: Be available for 24/7 support in a shift-based environment to ensure continuous monitoring.

  2. Teamwork: Ability to work well within the NOC team and collaborate across departments.
  3. Time Management: Prioritize tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  4. Adaptability: Stay agile in fast-changing conditions and handle evolving priorities.
  5. Customer Service: Ability to explain technical issues in non-technical language when required.
  6. Attention to Detail: Maintain high accuracy when configuring systems or resolving issues.
  7. Analytical Skills: Review performance data and identify potential areas for improvement.
