This innovative, African-focused, energy consultancy is seeking an Office Administrator with a strong work ethic to join their busy City-based business as a Team Assistant with occasional PA support to Directors.
This role requires exemplary time management, exceptional communication and critical thinking skills as well as the ability to work well with others both at junior, team and senior levels.
This administrator will be an integral part of the business and focal point for office management activities, identifying relevant improvements and efficiencies. The role will oversee, direct, and coordinate the work of lower-level staff/intern as required.
Ideally this candidate will be degree educated, with previous relevant experience and excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office – especially PowerPoint and Excel).
French would be a benefit but not a prerequisite.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage purchasing and administrative budget
- Ensure business & department operational efficiency
- Ensure Service Help Desk / tasks managed effectively
- Ensure meeting rooms managed and stoked accordingly
- Provide refreshments during meetings
- Manage office facilities / stock levels
- Ensure management / application of department policies, travel policy, expenses etc
- Travel / visa management
- Maintain office supplies
- Travel and expense reporting
- Provide general administrative support across the team as required
- Manage reception duties, on occasion - as required
- Manage admin supplier relationship
- Work with HSE to ensure compliance
- Manage work pass and identity card allocations
- Secure venues for events and activities
- Manage logistics – vehicle, transport, accommodation etc for guests and staff at events
Salary: £35-45K + disc bonus, pension, medical / dental cover, life insurance
Based: Office
Hours: 9 – 6pm
