In this role you will:•    Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework.•    Identify, assess, and prioritise risks across the organisation, implementing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.•    Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits/investigations.•    Working with the legal department to develop and update the company’s risk and compliance policies, ensuring policies are well-documented, communicated, and embedded.•    Prepare and present regular reports on risk and compliance. Clearly communicating risk and compliance issues to stakeholders.•    Investigate the root causes of process failures or quality issues within the business.

About you:•    Leader & Coach – lead, coach and oversee the professional development of the Risk function within Scania Great Britain.•    Self-Motivated - You will be responsible for developing and leading a whole new department, driving its strategy, structure, and operations to achieve the company's goals.•    Analytical - lead quantitative and qualitative analytical work to produce business insights and drive sound decision making on key business risk and compliance issues.•    Influential – able to demonstrate sound business understanding and work with various departments to ensure quality standards are integrated across the organisation.
