With projects that demand the highest standards of safety, precision, and compliance, they are seeking a proactive and organisedFacilities & Compliance Coordinatorto take ownership of the day-to-day running of their new facility. This is a part-time role, so the company are interested in contractors and part-time employees. This hands-on role combines responsibility for health & safety compliance, building management, and workshop organisation. You will play a key role in ensuring our site operates smoothly, legally, and efficiently, supporting a team of engineers who deliver complex, safety-critical projects to world-class clients. Key Responsibilities of the Facilities & Compliance Coordinator Oversee facilities management over the workshop and office space, supporting the smooth delivery of engineering projects. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including insurance renewals, fire risk assessments, and health & safety standards. Coordinate external contractors for building maintenance, inspections, and statutory compliance checks. Maintain tidy, well-organised stores and workshop areas that support efficient project delivery. Support purchasing and procurement activities, identifying and ordering required supplies. Act as a point of contact for facilities-related issues and escalate when needed. Keep accurate records of inspections, certifications, and compliance documentation. BUYING Skills & Attributes of the Facilities & Compliance Coordinator Highly organised and proactive, with strong attention to detail. Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to keep technical workshop spaces safe, tidy, and compliant. Understanding of facilities, compliance, or health & safety.
