We are working closely alongside with a local authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of a Fostering Panel Admin on a 3-months contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: 13.47- 17.45 per hour Summary: The Fostering Panel Administrator is a key support role within the Childrens Services function of Cardiff Council responsible for providing comprehensive high-level administrative support to the Fostering Panel. The role ensures the efficient operation of the Panel maintains accurate sensitive data and facilitates the timely documentation and distribution of critical decisions regarding prospective and approved foster carers.Responsibilities: Attend Fostering Panel meetings and compile draft minutes accurately for the Chairs approval within specific non-negotiable timescales. Ensure that all Fostering Panels are correctly arranged minuted and supported with all necessary logistics. Provide required statistical information on Foster Panels to managers and decision-makers upon request. To promptly update all relevant computerised systems (e.g. electronic case management records) following Panel outcomes. Produce regular monitoring and statistical returns related to fostering functions. Essentials:Proven recent experience in attending high-level meetings and producing accurate high-quality draft minutes quickly and within tight deadlines.A relevant Business Administration qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) or equivalent demonstrable professional experience. Experience in developing maintaining and reviewing administrative systems and procedures. A demonstrable understanding of and commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality when handling sensitive personal information particularly concerning children and families.
