Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Service Manager to join their team on a 1-year Fixed Term Contract (FTC). In this crucial role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the domestic violence services, ensuring they align with the charity's mission, values, and objectives.
Main Responsibilities
- Efficient Management: Ensure outreach initiatives are managed efficiently, within budget, and on schedule, while achieving agreed-upon outcomes.
- Performance Evaluation: Assess accomplishments according to set targets and establish future goals for team members.
- Policy Implementation: Develop and implement policies to ensure services adhere to best practices for service users.
- System Management: Oversee the efficient operation of Management Systems.
- Training and Awareness: Continue to offer and advance training and awareness-raising programs related to domestic violence.
- Meeting Participation: Attend relevant meetings for the Service Manager role, including traveling for face-to-face sessions as needed.
- Annual Report Contribution: Contribute to the creation of Annual Reports.
- Team Collaboration: Conduct team meetings to foster effective collaboration and prevent task overlap.
Requirements
- Integrity and Empathy: Operate with integrity, honesty, and empathy, particularly in sensitive situations.
- Leadership Experience: Experience in a position of authority, including supervising personnel, overseeing projects, and managing financial resources.
- Decision-Making Skills: Exceptional ability to make prudent decisions in challenging circumstances.
- Educational Background: A solid level of comprehensive education.
