An opportunity has arisen for a qualified chartered finance professional to join a private equity backed, consumer goods business that is a market leader in what they do. They have a good growth plan and you will play a pivotal role in the commercial finance team with a focus on ensuring accurate month-end close, presenting P&L reports, driving strategic decisions, managing budgets, developing KPI dashboards, and supporting process improvements and automations as well as partnering with the Executive team. You will also be a key player in enhancing processes and setting out best practice for colleagues.

To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Experience with PowerBI would be desirable but not essential
  • Brilliant interpersonal skills
  • Hands on approach
  • Strong excel and systems skills

A little more information about the role:

  • To be responsible for the FP&A function within the organisation
  • Ownership of the forecasting and budgeting process for the business
  • Providing the business with analysis and guidance and support that will aid strategic decision making
  • To own the cost base for the organisation, and partnering with the cost centre owners, challenging them were necessary
  • Making sure that the month end process is as accurate and efficient as possible
  • Supporting with continuous improvements across the finance team and wider business as well as being involved with system implementations
