Job Title: Account Director – Google Cloud Solutions

Location: London / Hybrid

£85.000 to 110.000 + double OTE


Careerwise has been appointed by a large Google Cloud-focused consultancy to source 3 Account Directors to join their high-performing sales team in London.


With clients spanning industries like pharma, finance, retail, media, telco, and manufacturing, my client provides solutions that enable companies to drive efficiency, improve security, and implement cutting-edge AI technologies.


As an Account Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling digital transformation services and Google licenses across cloud infrastructure, data activation, security, and AI, positioning my client’s Google Cloud solutions as transformative tools that enable business growth and digital transformation.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify, qualify, and engage potential clients across target sectors, focusing on establishing relationships and building trust in my client’s Google Cloud services.
  • Develop and execute strategies to penetrate key accounts, manage the entire sales cycle, and work towards achieving sales quotas and revenue targets.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives, presenting your offerings as tailored solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the technical, engineering, and product teams to develop proposals that address client needs. Partner with Google Cloud sales teams to leverage joint selling opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, particularly in cloud technologies, to serve as a knowledgeable consultant for clients and a trusted advocate.


Key Qualifications:


  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a sales role, ideally within cloud services, SaaS, or technology consulting.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud solutions and the ability to articulate their business benefits.
  • Proven success in managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through closing.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
  • Passionate about solving client problems and building long-lasting relationships.
