Reed Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking a dedicated Finance Officer to join our client's team on a temporary basis. This role is perfect for a finance professional who is adept at handling a variety of financial tasks with precision and efficiency. As a Finance Officer, you will be instrumental in maintaining our financial records, including processing payments, managing invoices, and preparing reports.

Finance Officer Day-to-day of the role:

  • Maintaining financial records and ensuring transactions are properly recorded.
  • Processing invoices, payments, and managing accounts receivable/payable.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
  • Preparing accurate monthly financial reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Finance Officer Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
