Are you an Operating Department Practitioner, and you are thinking of a new challenge then why not apply to be a flexible worker across the Theatre Departments at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust. We are a friendly and welcoming team who pride ourselves on providing excellent care and actively encourage staff development and a sense of belonging.

South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust have duties are available across the Theatre Departments at both Sunderland Royal Hospital and South Tyneside District Hospital, we provide anaesthetics to a wide variety of specialities. The flexible NHSP worker will be expected to utilise skills and knowledge to support anaesthetic practice in an operating department environment, which may involve procedures performed on both adult and paediatric patients under general, regional and local anaesthetic.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

  • HCPC Registration
  • Experience of working in an acute hospital or community health care setting
