Our Nuclear and Defence client is recruiting for a number of Senior/Lead/Principal Mechanical Engineers to work on a permanent basis or a long term contract basis (Inside ir35)


Client is keen to consider candidates from highly regulated industries including:


  • Pharmaceutical
  • Oil and Gas/Subsea
  • FMCG/Food Manufacturing


You will be developing a thorough understanding of the projects Mechanical scope of work and requirements from the customer’s specifications.


This will include the management of the day-to-day activities of the Senior Mechanical Engineers and their teams for each package of work.


You will do this by ensuring the design deliverables for all packages to which they have been assigned are being produced as per the project schedule and aligned to key landmarks. You will be involved in the approval of checked work and acceptance in accordance with the company procedures.


Experience required


- Design experience within a highly regulated industry

  • Full understanding of design lifecycle process from concept through to manufacture
  • Experience with HAZOPs and FMEA
