Commercial Assistant Glasgow Permanent ARM are currently supporting one of our clients in Glasgow with the recruitment of a Commercial Assistant on a permanent basis. The Commercial Assistant will provide vital support to the Commercial Department across various project lifecycles, ensuring efficient and accurate commercial operation.Requirements:* Assist with the preparation of bids and tenders, including gathering and compiling project information, cost estimates, and contract documents.* Maintain and update commercial databases, including contracts, quotations, and sub-contractor information.* Process invoices, manage purchase orders, and ensure timely payments to vendors and subcontractors.* Track project budgets and expenditures, identifying and reporting any potential cost variances.* Prepare and distribute commercial reports and presentations as required.* Assist with the management of commercial risks and insurance requirements.* Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Commercial Manager.Requirements: * Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a commercial role within the construction industry.* Strong understanding of commercial construction principles, including contracts, pricing, and cost management.* Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.* Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.* Proactive and resourceful, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.This vacancy is being advertised by Advanced Resource Managers.
