We are seeking an experienced sub-editor to work on our weekly print magazine print specials and supplements and on multiple digital platforms. Our chosen candidate will have excellent communication skills strong experience of working to tight deadlines across both print and digital and a solid understanding of news principles and writing for SEO. Key ResponsibilitiesSubbing news stories and features for print and digital editions ensuring that all copy meets the highest editorial standards.Meticulously checking facts spellings and grammar and rewriting copy where appropriate in collaboration with section editors and writers.Cutting copy to fit print pages and writing compelling headlines and captions.Working with designers and picture editors to complete finished print pages.Subbing digital-first content and writing engaging headlines for each platform to meet the latest SEO guidelines.Important: Please read the task details in the Qualifications section and submit this as your sample of work along with your CV and cover letter.
