Electrical Commissioning Engineer

We are looking for an experiencedElectrical Commissioning Engineer / Senior Authorised Person to join our team in Royston. This role is with a global EPC, on an initial 12 month contract outside IR35.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate with the installation contractor for the handover of completed electrical works. Manage and supervise vendor personnel during commissioning activities. Perform electrical isolations and implement Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures for equipment and systems. Witness and/or execute testing of electrical equipment and systems to ensure compliance with project standards. Prepare and maintain documentation for handover to the client, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Requirements:Certified at to 11 Kv Relevant electrical engineering qualification or equivalent experience. Minimum of 7 years experience in electrical commissioning and/or high-voltage operations. Senior Authorised Person (SAP) certification for HV systems. Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures, including isolations and LOTO. Experience with testing and commissioning of HV/LV equipment and associated control systems. Excellent documentation and reporting skills. Ability to lead and coordinate teams effectively on-site.TPBN1_UKTJ
