Electrical Commissioning Engineer

OverviewRole Purpose :As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer / Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, supervising and executing the commissioning and installation of electrical systems (primarily low-voltage switchgear, modular power solutions, critical distribution infrastructure) to ensure handover to clients meets performance, safety, and quality standards.You will act as the technical lead on site, supervising contractors, coordinating with internal teams and ensuring that commissioning activities are completed on schedule, safely, and to specification.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise on-site commissioning activities for electrical distribution equipment (low voltage switchgear, modular solutions, power pods) from installation through to final handover.Develop and execute detailed commissioning plans, including witness testing, equipment integration, functional tests, and documentation for handover to clients.Review electrical schematics, site installation drawings, mechanical and electrical interfaces to ensure readiness for commissioning.Coordinate with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, internal technical teams and clients to ensure all parties understand commissioning requirements and timelines.Monitor site progress, produce status reports, highlight risks / issues and drive corrective action to keep commissioning on schedule. #J-18808-Ljbffr
