BTSN’s mission is to bring Black sales professionals together by equipping them with the tools and opportunities needed to excel in their careers.


Our thriving community unites Black sales professionals across all experience levels through networking events, social gatherings, mentorship programs, workshops, and more. Since 2022, BTSN has grown from 250 to over 1,400 members. With 2025 set to be a transformative year, we’re focused on substantially expanding our presence in the US, driving engagement, and creating more impactful opportunities for our members.


About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated Community Manager to lead BTSN’s initiatives, strengthen sponsorship relationships, and spearhead our growth across the US. This role is ideal for a self-starter passionate about community building, event management, and driving social impact.


Key Responsibilities

As our Community Manager, you will:


Grow & Manage BTSN's Sponsorship Portfolio

  • Secure new sponsorships
  • Cultivate relationships with sponsors to ensure BTSN’s long-term sustainability.
  • Oversee all sponsorship deliverables, ensuring expectations are met.
  • Regularly engage with sponsors to maintain strong partnerships


Plan and Deliver Exceptional Events:

  • Create and manage an annual events calendar.
  • Coordinate marketing and promotion efforts to drive attendance.
  • Collaborate with sponsors and co-hosts to execute memorable events.
  • Attend and represent BTSN at events.


Grow and Nurture the BTSN Community:

  • Lead BTSN’s mentorship program, connecting members with impactful opportunities.
  • Create and share engaging newsletters that keep members informed and inspired.


Lead BTSN’s US Expansion:

  • Develop strategies to attract new members and increase engagement across the US.


What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

  • Marketing experience, particularly in social media marketing.
  • Proven event management skills.
  • Experience managing a community or society.
  • Confidence with public speaking and representing BTSN at events.
  • Proficiency in Canva and other design tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
