Job Purpose:As part of the People Team, your role is to deliver exceptional service across the organisation. You'll provide proactive, reliable, and effective support, ensuring high standards of service delivery throughout the employee life cycle. Acting as the first point of contact for people queries, you'll delegate or redirect as needed, offering advice and ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practices. �?Main Accountabilities:

  • Provide high-quality initial advice to line managers and staff, directing them to relevant policies and procedures. ??
  • Manage the People's inbox promptly. ??
  • Assist People Advisors and Business Partners with case work, updating the HRIS. ??
  • Monitor case progress, ensuring automated processes are followed. ??
  • Handle driver checks and DBS checks, escalating as needed. ????
  • Maintain accurate data and systems in compliance with policy and GDPR. ??
  • Issue contracts to new starters within agreed timeframes. ??
  • Verify Right to Work, references, Occupational Health, and DBS checks for new hires. ?
  • Conduct audit checks in key work areas. ??
  • Process purchase orders and invoices. ??
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team during annual leave or recruitment campaigns. �?
  • Draft and send correspondence related to employee relations cases. ??
  • Coordinate Occupational Health appointments, flu jabs, and eye care vouchers. ???????
  • Handle pensions auto-enrollment paperwork for employees. ????
  • Assist the People Services Manager in delivering the People Plan. ??

Qualifications:

  • Good standard of general education, including GCSE Maths and English at level C and above. ???
  • Level 3 CIPD or demonstrable equivalent experience. �?

Relevant Experience:

  • At least 12 months of experience working within a busy Human Resources team. ???
  • Experience in Housing and/or a care-related environment. �?�?
