Account Executive - National Security & Intelligence

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and ambitious Account Executive to join a high-growth environment, focused on increasing the company’s footprint within National Security & Intelligence and adjacent sectors.

Key Responsibilities

As an Account Executive, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Growth: Proactively identifying new opportunities and creating account plans to expand the company’s presence within National Security & Intelligence.
  • Customer Insight: Building detailed profiles of government agencies to understand their challenges, technical roadmaps, and programmatic needs.
  • Sales Execution: Collaborating with engineering, legal, and leadership teams to design tailored solutions, draft proposals, and secure multi-year government contracts.
  • Relationship Building: Establishing trusted partnerships with senior decision-makers, positioning the company as a preferred supplier in the government sector.
  • Market Representation: Representing the company at key industry events, effectively communicating its value proposition, and ensuring alignment with evolving sector needs.
  • Pipeline Ownership: Managing complex, long sales cycles, from initial engagement to successful contract negotiation and delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Sector Expertise: Proven experience working with or selling to National Security & Intelligence communities, with a deep understanding of their unique operational requirements.
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrable success managing long sales cycles within the public sector, ideally selling advanced technology or engineering solutions.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security protocols, including classified and unclassified information environments.
  • Customer Focus: Ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences, from technical teams to senior government officials.
  • Relationship Management: A strong track record of building and maintaining strategic partnerships across multiple stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal skills, capable of drafting compelling proposals and influencing at all levels.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
