- Manage Payroll:Handle all aspects of payroll for approximately 6,000 employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Reporting:Prepare weekly and monthly reports to keep everything on track.
- Policy Adherence:Review and follow company policies and procedures.
- Accuracy Checks:Ensure all payroll transactions are thoroughly checked for accuracy.
- Problem-Solving:Identify and resolve any payroll errors promptly.
- Support:Provide information and answer questions from employees and managers about payroll-related matters.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience:Proven work experience as a Payroll Assistant or in a similar role.
- Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs.
- Attention to Detail:Strong numerical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
- Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Time Management:Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Calm Under Pressure:Ability to remain level-headed with difficult queries or tight deadlines.
- Bonus:Experience in a Finance/Accounting environment is advantageous but not essential.
