About the job
Lyrebird Health, a fast-growing healthcare AI startup, is seeking an exceptional leader to establish and grow our presence in the UK market. As our first UK hire and Country Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Lyrebird's success and impact in one of our most strategic markets.
About us

As we expand globally, the UK represents an exciting opportunity to bring our innovative solutions to a new market.
About the role
As the UK Country Leader, you will be the driving force behind Lyrebird's growth and brand presence in the region. This is a highly visible leadership role where you will wear many hats - from sales and customer experience to operations and team building.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for the UK
- Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the UK healthcare ecosystem, including NHS trusts, private healthcare providers, and industry partners

- Hiring, training, and leading a high-performing local team
- Collaborating closely with HQ in Melbourne to align on strategy and share market insights
- Serving as the face of Lyrebird in the UK and embodying our mission, vision, and values
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience leading and scaling a business unit or startup
- Track record of success in enterprise sales and business development
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate and manage high-performing teams
- Understanding of the UK healthcare landscape
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on with all aspects of the business
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit and growth mindset
- Alignment with Lyrebird's mission and excitement about the potential of AI in healthcare
Why Lyrebird:
- Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on healthcare in the UK and beyond
- Highly visible leadership role with significant autonomy and influence
- Competitive compensation package including equity
- Collaborative, mission-driven culture with a supportive global team
If you are a results-oriented leader with a passion for healthcare innovation, we'd love to hear from you. This is a unique opportunity to shape Lyrebird's trajectory in the UK from the ground up. Join us in our mission to make high-quality healthcare accessible to all.
