Are you looking for a part-time role as an Accounts Assistant? Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of their organisation while enjoying a flexible work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Log into the system daily to check cash receipts and ensure accurate balance
- Verify and prepare payments for wages on a weekly basis
- Reconcile accounts and update records on a monthly basis
- Post invoices, match receipts, and process payment requests promptly
- Maintain accurate sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring all documents are filed appropriately
- Utilise various software systems for cash postings and customer invoicing
- Assist with credit control and debt management tasks
- Collaborate with various teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Support the payroll process by inputting holidays, calculating averages, and generating reports
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding purchase orders and invoices
Key Requirements:
- Relevant experience in accounts or finance-related role
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset
