Our client, a leading UK-based financial services group, is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Assistant Manager - Regulatory Reporting & Analyst to join their team in Edinburgh on an initial 3-month contract. The successful candidate will work a minimum of 2 days in the Edinburgh offices and the remaining time remotely.
Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of robust risk-weighted reporting MI for both internal and external stakeholders within agreed timelines.Consolidate and deliver accurate data quality reporting.Create and present robust capital MI with insightful analysis.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, systems, and procedures.Collaborate with stakeholder teams to understand the wider impact of process changes and ensure a collaborative outcome.
Requirements:
Practical understanding of financial systems and processes, with the ability to analyse and present information to inform business decisions.Knowledge of relevant technology, such as Power BI, Python, and SQL, would be highly beneficial.Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise workload, adapting plans when necessary.Delivery-driven with a passion for producing quality work at a fast pace.Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.Confident and collaborative approach to implementing change.
