Lead Project Planner to join our prestigious Aerospace client based in Luton. This role is initially a 6 month contract with potential for extension.

Morson Talent are looking for a Lead Planner for a complex design and development bid, responsible for the quality and integrity of the project controls aspects required to submit a secure and compelling proposal.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio level response from the Electronics Warefare line of business which will require collaboration and cross functional working to deliver required outcomes. All schedule activity will be conducted in P6 and use Primavera risk analyser so must be an expert user in this with the ability to coach and support the bid team in the understanding of project controls best practice.

Must Have:
- Ability to coach and mentor cross functional members of a bid team in planning and scheduling best practice
- Ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams and recognise and positively interact with stakeholders up to VP level
- Ability to work independently, in compliance with all procedures and able to recognise appropriate escalation scenarios
- Application of Schedule Risk Analysis including identification, methods of analysis and recommendations for management
- Commercial and financial acumen
- Comprehensive and demonstrable Project Controls experience with proven expertise in bid phase and complex engineering development projects
- Expert user in P6 Scheduling Tool
- Proven collaboration, communication, planning, problem solving, decision making skills

Nice to have:
- APMG Project Controls Practitioner

Occasional Remote Worker (~90% onsite)
Candidates that already have SC are preferred
