Digital Product Manager / Digital Product Owner / Web Product Owner - Emphasis on UX / CX
Overview of the role:
Working as an integral part of an agile Digital Product development team the Digital Product Owner will be working to deliver a pre-agreed roadmap of features across mobile app and Web. They will educate the wider business on the product vision and motivate the team in scheduling, design, and delivery of change. There is a bit of an emphasis on UX / CX, so any experience of this, specifically on a web portal, would be hugely beneficial. Ideally you would have experience running work shops to help shape how features are shaped and delivered, to be highly CX centric.
Responsible for delivery value to users, the Digital Product Owner will be responsible for refining and scheduling work in order to deliver the greatest value to our users. They will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on product performance.
A passionate advocate for innovation the Digital Product Owner will work with SMEs from around the organisation and the delivery team to design market leading solutions, supporting Scrum events and leading workshops.
You’ll play a key part in documenting requirements and preparing requirements that meet the teams definition of ready. In order to achieve this, confident collaboration will be required across the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive and deliver against an agreed roadmap of product enhancements.
- Working closely with an agile Digital product team to produce an effective and innovative solution.
- Owning and running work shops from a UX/CX perspective.
- Obtaining SME sign off on prepared requirements and receiving demos/ delivering UAT on behalf of the business.
- Maintains a detailed sprint plan scheduling development work in accordance with product priorities and team velocity.
- Reporting on sprint progress and key feature delivery to internal sponsors.
- Providing regular updates to key stakeholders and sharing product vision with the wider organisation.
- Works with Squad Lead, Scrum Master & SMEs to maximise the efficiency of the team.
Skills and experience needed:
- Experienced working across Web and Mobile Products
- Experience of UX or CX and running workshops to shape what a Web Product would look like, would be ideal.
- Experience working within a wide range of technologies and a good technical mindset.
- Can articulate a good understand of agile principles and methodologies.
- Proven track record of developing successful products.
- Agile Product Owner or Scrum Master Certification
- Story boarding/ workshop experience
