Job Title: Financial Operations Officer
Location: BA5 1XJ (Remote with monthly office visits)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: 30,437
Contract: Fixed-term until March 18, 2025

About the Role:
Join our Financial Operations team and ensure accurate and complete posting of income into our finance and housing management systems. You'll handle payment processing, issue invoices, provide credit control support, and resolve queries. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong IT skills, and the ability to work under pressure. While an AAT qualification is desired, it's not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and allocate payments to accounts.
Raise and dispatch debtor invoices.
Reconcile cash and resolve unposted items.
Support credit control and manage direct debit collections.
Assist with system and service improvement projects.

Requirements:

GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
AAT qualification is desired but not essential.
Experience working within a processing/transactional team, familiarity with computerised accounting systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong organisational, analytical, and financial skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicting priorities and a demanding workload while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
