About The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Snr. Digital Product Owner to join our team and lead the development of our new greenfield, native mobile application. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in defining, developing, and launching mobile apps that meet user needs and business goals. They will also have a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the performance and customer experience of Wren's mobile applications: including defining stories, acceptance criteria and prioritisation of backlog to maximise value.
  • Work with internal and external customers to understand customer needs.
  • Get stuck into gathering requirements and taking a hands-on approach to projects when needed to show leadership and support to BA team.
  • Own the day-to-day relationship with our third-party digital transformation agency for your product - leading the daily and weekly catchups to ensure successful roadmap delivery.
  • Coordinate roadmap requirements from the wider stakeholder group, working in harmony with other Product Owners (including retail website and trade).
  • Track and report on project benefit realisation versus key objectives and forecasts.
  • Assist in the creation of business cases for larger change projects relating to your product area.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product.
  • Keep project sponsors and key stakeholders updated on the product backlog, project timelines and overall performance.
  • Own the consultation process with key stakeholders when presenting new ideas.

About You

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management or related role.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and launching digital products.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with product analytics tools and methodologies.
