Supplier Manager - Birmingham/Bristol/Edinburgh/Halifax - 12 Months Contract - Salary £88,000pa

Are you a motivated and experienced Supplier Manager looking for an exciting opportunity with a global leader in financial technology? Our client is at the forefront of powering businesses of all sizes to make, take, and manage payments, and they are seeking a talented individual to join their team on an initial 12-month contract.

As a Supplier Manager, you'll play a crucial role in executing the organisation's strategy and delivering upon their purpose. By building strong and long-lasting relationships with suppliers, you will enable the organisation to stay ahead of the competition and better serve its customers. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with the Group Chief Operating Officer and collaborate with both internal senior stakeholders and external providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Build collaborative relationships with senior internal and external partners.
  • Ensure suppliers deliver in line with expectations and drive incremental value.
  • Actively manage suppliers and apply the appropriate level of treatment standards.
  • Utilise data to identify trends and deliver continuous improvements in the supply chain.
  • Provide professional advice to key partners and colleagues.
  • Balance accountability with partnership to maximise value and minimise risk.

Additionally, experience in working with suppliers/3rd parties, sourcing, and an understanding of cyber, operational resilience, data privacy, technology, and cloud policies would be useful.
