Job Title: Electrical maintenance engineer

Mission :

Key responsibilities:

  • Commissioning of new projects (electrically).
  • Installation of new product lines (electrical feeds).
  • Carry out facilities based electrical repairs and installations.
  • Provide guidance to other/younger members of the maintenance team to help develop their electrical abilities.
  • Help other maintenance team members with their tasks where needed and within your competences.


Skills and attributes:
  • A safety-first approach to work at all times.
  • A desire and willingness to learn new skills and diversify within your role.
  • Have good communication skills with peers and non-peers alike.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities, demonstrating logical thinking and application of remedies.
  • Be able to take a flexible approach to tasks and prioritise your workload to accommodate business needs.

Education
  • Completed a time served apprenticeship scheme.
  • Have the BS7671:2018 qualification.
  • Be able to prove you experience and competencies.

Desirable
  • City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
  • Mobile elevated work platform - scissor lift
  • Renewables installation
  • PASMA mobile access towers
