Role: Finance Assistant

Salary: Up to £34,000

Duration: 12 months

Start date: Earliest 19th August

Working hours: 37.5 hours a week, office based.Flexible working hours with core hours.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the purchase ledger
  • Maintaining the sales ledger
  • Resolving invoice queries
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting in audit preparation
  • Payment runs
  • Accrual reconciliations
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Expenses
  • Posting journals
  • Maintaining petty cash
  • Ad hoc finance duties as required to support the team

Skills/Experience needed:

  • Self starter
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enjoy working as part of a Small team
  • Computer literate
  • Confident using Excel
  • Ability to prioritise will and approach work methodically
  • Ideally AAT level 3 or qualified
  • Previous finance experience - Minimum being experience managing purchase ledger
