This role (along with gaining an industry-leading qualification) supports the Marketing division within the Commercial team.
What will your role look like?
As a Marketing Apprentice, you will be working within a busy team to support marketing and communication across Welcome Break
You will be undertaking a 15-month Apprenticeship course in Multi-Channel Marketing.
In your day-to-day job, you will be involved with:
- Developing the Welcome Break brand through social media, website and CRM content
- Supporting on delivering campaign plans, across all available channels
- Marketing of new sites, brands and unit refurbishments
- Delivering proactive PR
- Delivery of our fundraising events
- Creating copy to be used across all Marketing channels including the website, social media, promotional materials and events.
- Keeping website up-to-date
- Content for organic and paid social media calendar, and schedule into various platforms as appropriate
- Support with the SEO activities of the business
In your apprenticeship learning you will undertake:
- 15 months of learning, with an End-Point Assessment (EPA) period of 3 months
- Partake in a programme delivered via blended learning
- Virtual facilitated learning sessions
- Delegates complete learning sessions with their Apprenticeship Coach every 4-6 weeks
- Virtual learning platform
- Delegates are expected to carry out self-study using the online platform
- Webinars included to develop the knowledge required
- Regular contact with your Apprenticeship Coach via an online platform, email and telephone
- Undertake practice assessments at agreed milestones
Ideally, you will:
- Have an interest in marketing and a desire to start a career in this sector
- Be a self-starter, keen to learn and have the passion to undertake a professional qualification
- GCSE Maths and English C grade or above
- Have some experience working in an office setting
- A good level of IT Literacy - Microsoft Office suite
