CEIAG/Supported Internship Manager

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join us as a CEIAG/Supported Internship Manager in the Devon area.
This role will involve supporting the Employment & Skills Programme Manager to embed & deliver high quality employment opportunities across United Response including ROC College; enabling people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and physical disabilities to access employment, apprenticeships, voluntary opportunities and/or further education/training.
You’ll be enthusiastic about leading, developing and maintaining a high-performing team which puts the people we support at the heart of what we do.
In practice, this means you’ll enjoy the challenge of:
Supporting the Employment & Skills Programme Manager to manage & develop the programmes and projects being delivered and ensure their success against agreed targets and outcomes. You'll lead a team of job coaches in Devon in the delivery of Supported Internships, Supported Employment and embed the employment offer within ROC College. You'll coordinate the delivery of CEIAG across ROC College and UR employment & skills provision and also manage the delivery of Employment Pathways across United Response/ROC College and ensure that they are embedded into their offer You’ll also build important connections outside United Response to help people we support to find opportunities in our local communities.
You’ll need experience in working with learning disabilities, ASD, mental health needs and/or students in a school or college setting, have Level 3/4 or above in Education/Job Coaching/Careers Guidance or equivalent and be competent with IT systems. You'll be able to demonstrate a commitment to the Safeguarding of Children & Adults and to recognise and report any disclosure, suspicion or evidence of harm, risk of harm, abuse or neglect in line with United Response’s Safeguarding Children & Adults policy.
We’re looking for people who are passionate about making a difference and have experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs. It’s also very important that you’re a good communicator (written and verbal)..
