Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Welding Techniques: Perform fabrication and welding tasks using MMA, MIG, and TIG techniques.
  • Engineering Drawings: Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications to fabricate components accurately.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate welding and fabrication equipment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with engineering and project management teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Safety Protocols: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company HSE policies.
  • Adaptability: Participate in offshore and international projects as required, demonstrating adaptability to varying environments and project scopes.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Time-served apprenticeship and/or proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder, preferably in a workshop, offshore, or international setting.
  • Welding Proficiency: Proficiency in MMA, MIG, and TIG welding techniques.
  • Fabrication Standards: Familiarity with DNV 2.7-1 fabrication standards and procedures.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and sketches accurately.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and precision in fabrication and welding tasks.
  • Teamwork: Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Additional Skills: Experience with overhead cranes and a current forklift operator license are advantageous but not required; training can be provided.
