This role is part-time on a rolling rota working opposite a team member working currently in a part-time role within the hub.

You are expected to work as an autonomous professional, applying your knowledge and skills in complex situations. This will include supporting the team manager with daily operational functions of the team and to support staff through both formal and informal supervision. You are expected to carry a small caseload of cases identified as having high complexity and acuity. You will be a part this brilliant team to work with people and their carers to support and enable them to stay safe, be healthy, have aspirations in education or employment, and to achieve independency.
You must be a registered social worker. You must be able to demonstrates sound knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance such as the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Human Rights Act 1998 etc. You must also have a sound knowledge about strength-based approach. Collaborative working is an important part of our works; therefore, you are expected to demonstrate experience in multi-agency working.
You must have excellent communication skills, the resilience to work under pressure and be flexible in your approach. There is an expectation that you will undertake the formal supervision of qualified social work staff.
