We're recruiting for the newly created role of Talent Development Manager to join our People team based at Dava Street in Glasgow.

Reporting to our Director of People, the post holder will lead the development and implementation of talent strategies aligned with our strategic priorities, incorporating L&D, recruitment and our unique People First approach. The Talent Development Manager will identify current and future skills and talent needs, design and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy, and establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent initiatives that will support Right There employees through the full employee lifecycle.

Right There is a charity working to prevent people becoming homeless and separated from their loved ones. We’re here for children and adults who are living with the effects of poverty, addiction or broken relationships. Walking alongside people at home and in the community, we provide tailored support and form trusting relationships to help people feel happier, safer and more confident to live their lives.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Develop and implement talent strategies Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address current and future talent needs Establish metrics and KPI's to measure the effectiveness of talent development initiatives and processes Design and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract, select and retain top talent Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline through proactive sourcing, networking and relationship building Create and and manage learning and development programmes to build employee skills, knowledge and competencies Conduct training needs assessments in order to prioritise resources and develop relevant training programs and materials Drive the implementation of the People First system, fostering a supportive and psychologically healthy work environment Lead the People First Coordinator and Practitioner Psychologist to embed People First internally and externally, creating a recognised and cohesive programme that complements the wider Talent strategy

The post holder will report to our Director of People Your normal working hours are 35 per week worked Monday to Friday Annual leave entitlement of hours (equivalent to 6 weeks) pro rata per year in the first year, rising to hours (equivalent to 8 weeks) pro rata in the second year. This is inclusive of public holidays You will be automatically enrolled into the People's Pension in the month that you will complete 3-months of employment, provided you meet the auto-enrolment criteria Life Insurance 4 x salary from day one Cycle to Work Scheme Option to purchase and sell annual leave Ongoing learning and development
