Salary:                        Grade C (point 4-6) - £23,114 to £23,893 (pro-rata)

The Role…

          The Governing Board of High Lawn Primary and Nursery School are looking to employ a Playworker (Level 2) to work within our busy Out of School Club.  The successful applicant will need to be a team player who have the ability to maintain our high standard of provision.

About You…

We are looking for individuals who:

  • have previous experience of working with primary aged children in a play environment preferred;
  • have a driving licence and use of own car;
  • are bubbly, happy, motivated person who enjoys being around children;

·        hold an NVQ Level 1 in Childcare or equivalent.  This qualification is essential and previous experience of working with children would be an advantage.

Club is open 7.30am - 9.00am and then 3.00pm - 6.00pm (term time) and 8.00am – 6.00pm (school holidays) at any one of our 3 sites (High Lawn, Sharples and Belmont).  Shifts are worked out around the number of children in attendance.  Transport will be provided from High Lawn if required.

Driving licence essential:

·        with the use of own car, casual business use must be on the insurance; mileage can be claimed back;
