Job Description

Working on an individual basis or collaboratively as part of a team, you will provide an efficient and effective administrative support to the Area Manager's Team (Infrastructure Services) based in Alford. Duties will be varied from general secretarial support to staffing administration, financial administration and management of information.

We are looking for a customer-focussed individual who has the ability to work on their own initiative but who can manage a demanding and varied workload and can meet strict deadlines. Confidentiality is essential to the role as is the ability to deal with people at all levels and work under pressure.

Applicants should have excellent keyboard and communication skills and have previous office experience. They should also be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Email and ideally hold a word processing qualification.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

This post has a minimum requirement of one reference which must be your current or most recent employer.
