Qualifications: WHMIS MUST have experience working on Brake Press or Punch Press

Mandatory Skills:

Ability to use measuring equipment (caliper micrometer etc.)

Able to read blue prints and/or follow instruction to ascertain set up and materials required

Able to set up tooling set gauges and guards to produce a number of different notches holes extrusions according to specifications on drawings.

Able to maintain production process in an efficient and effective state.

Able to install tooling and program depth gauges of various sizes and degrees to bend to form simple to semi complex parts

Mandatory: Team Player Positive Attitude Approachable Willing to Learn

Duties

Operate assigned equipment

Transfer finished product/output to appropriate area.

Perform checks during machine operation to ensure quality of production/work being produced and specifications are met

Set up machine according to specifications and ensure availability of appropriate materials in preparation for production to ensure jobs are processed accurately and based on client prescribed guidelines.

Perform daily preventative maintenance on assigned machine to ensure optimal operating efficiency in accordance with specific machine maintenance procedures

Troubleshoot basic problems/issues associated with assigned equipment based prescribed instructions as applicable.

Escalate unresolved issues based on escalation procedure. Interact with onsite equipment vendors to resolve any equipment issues.
