Job description
Role
We�re looking for a Payroll Specialist to assist our payroll team with the end-to-end processing of payroll & pensions for TPR.�
Responsibilities
You will:
� � �Assist with the end-to-end processing & management of monthly payroll.
� � �Assist with the management of all payroll related expenditure (payroll, NI, PAYE, pensions etc) ensuring statutory deadlines are met and up to date legislation applied correctly.
� � �Work with our Payroll Pensions Specialist to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of monthly pension data to our pension scheme administrator.
� � �Work with our Payroll Pensions Specialist to provide timely responses to data requests from our pension scheme administrator.
� � �Provide an efficient and approachable customer service to TPR staff and effectively handle sensitive issues.
� � �Ensure all payroll data is kept in accordance with the Data Protection Act, HMRC rules; comply with internal & external audit requirements.
� � �Liaise with 3rd party customers on a regular basis, establish and maintain relationships.
� � �Continuous improvement initiatives on all payroll processes including the implementation of new processes.
� � �Design & improve payroll reports to comply with audit requirements
� � �Review and manage PSA process; ensure accurate calculations and annual renewal with HMRC.

Essential and Desirable Criteria
Essential
� � �Experience of the end-to-end processing & management of payroll including manual calculations, year end and expenses.
� � �Technical up to date knowledge on payroll and pensions legislation.
� � �HMRC rules & regulations.
Desirable
� � �Experienced user if iTrent.
� � �Knowledge of public sector pension scheme.
