What will you be doing?
Working as part of a wider team, you will support Commissioning Managers to deliver efficient and effective operation of the Adults, Health & Commissioning function with a specialism in Adult Social Care, ensuring delivery of strategic priorities and commissioning intentions.
Support the Commissioning Managers with the development and implementation of commissioning plans, project plans, documents and strategies across the commissioning cycle.
Support market management and the ongoing development of service provision and quality through facilitating effective collaboration, coproduction and joint working throughout the procurement process, including service user and stakeholder engagement events.
About you
An excellent communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of internal and external partners and stakeholders.
Good attention to detail and the ability to present information clearly and concisely to a range of people.
An agile thinker with the ability to effectively prioritise and problem solve on a wide range of issues.
Understanding of the pressures and opportunities facing local authorities and the adult social care market in Cambridgeshire.
Prior commissioning experience, while desirable, is not essential for the right candidate(s) with appropriate transferrable skills.
