Sales Executive

This fantastic organisation is a leader in the industry, known for their exceptional products and commitment to customer satisfaction. As a Sales Executive, you will play a vital role within their existing sales and customer service structure. While initially office-based, there is potential for this role to evolve into both internal and external positions, with opportunities for UK and international travel.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of an existing customer base within an agreed territory and identify areas for growth and development.
- Proactively search for new opportunities to expand the client base.
- Respond to customer enquiries, provide quotes, and resolve queries independently or with support from the Technical team.
- Contribute to the growth of the business by reactivating dormant accounts and meeting established targets.
- Maintain customer sales records and update customer information in the CRM system.
- Communicate with customers to maintain momentum of delivery and identify additional potential opportunities.
- Meet and exceed quote conversion rates as per agreed targets.
- Carry out any other duties as reasonably required.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience:
- Energetic and driven personality, thriving in a sales environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, maintaining a professional approach at all times.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with good overall computer skills.
- Strong numeracy skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills.
- Independent and team-oriented, capable of working autonomously or collaboratively.
- Proactive and motivated, with a desire to grow within the role.
Desirable Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience:
- Previous experience in sales or business development roles.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and their functionalities.
- Microsoft Excel and Word.
