What the day will look like
The Chief Commercial Officer will require leadership in the following distinct capabilities:
Developing a global multinational sales strategy for Human Capital, across the domains of Health, Wealth and Talent
Building a global GB sales team
Create a robust sales process - including sales plan, lead qualification, go no/go process, resourcing, pricing strategy, Aon story etc
Build a clear marketing plan with Marcom to support the sales strategy for multinationals
Updating and refining the value proposition for MNCs and the external engagement strategy
Creating accountability within the Global Benefits team by developing appropriate metrics and coordinating measurement versus those metrics
Lead pipelines and create clear reporting metrics utilising the CRM system, Aon Connect
Implement clear sales sprints with Enterprise Client Group and Aon Client Leadership clients
Building a successful, global sales team to execute end to end sales including outreach, pitching, pricing, negotiation, closing deals and implementation
Ensure a robust after-sales process to deliver strong customer engagement aligned to the GB operating model.
Ensuring timely recognition and reward for top achievers and implementing performance management actions when needed
Building strong and collaborative relationships with other internal partners, notably the domestic Health, Wealth and Talent commercial and client facing teams, the Enterprise Client Group, and the regional Commercial teams
Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor analysis.
Visibility and regular communication with regional Health leaders, Enterprise Client Group, Chief Commercial Officer and region CCO's
How this opportunity is different
You will build, lead, support and enable the Global Benefits commercial strategy and a team to deliver that strategy, collaborating with region Chief Commercial Officers and Sales Leaders as well as the Enterprise Client Group. You will play a key role in evolving and refreshing the Human Capital value proposition for multinationals across the full expanse of Health, Wealth and Talent. You will partner with the Head of Global Benefits, Global Benefits leadership team and regional leadership to drive a more commercial and growth mindset. The role reports to the Head of Global Benefits. The role will be held responsible for and measured against driving outsized growth of the multi-national segment through new business and expansion of existing relationships.

  • Strong experience within consultative sales and possess the ability to prospect and lead senior level relationships

  • Strong links with regional Health and Wealth Leaders and region CCO's
