Job Description
What is the role?
To promote and provide a Justice social work service through the use of professional assessment and analysis of collated information, identify goals and the focus of intervention and appropriate resources. Implement review and evaluation case management plans; monitor, review and evaluate action plans to respond to changing services users and relevant partners risk and needs; and effectively communicate with all relevant parties. To promote social inclusion, work sensitively with diversity and in an anti-discriminatory way. Carry out these tasks within the framework of relevant legislation and Council policy and procedures.

Extra Information:
The Grade of this post is Grade 3 / Level 10; the hourly rate is from £23.90 to £25.13 and the annual salary is from £43, to £45,.
Applicants whose qualification award is pending within the next 6 months, are welcome to apply. If you are recommended for the post the initial placement will be at Level 8, until your qualification is awarded.
The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly between home and the office and the frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service.
T his post is considered to be Regulated Work protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act . Accordingly the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update if already a Scheme Member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
