Senior Support Worker

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Qualified Support Workers to join our teams across Ayrshire.
**A full UK driving licence is a necessity for this role due to the locations of our homes, and an element of driving that is part of the role.**
As a Senior Support Worker, you will provide assistance and support to individuals with various needs, helping them to live independently and improve their quality of life. If you have a passion for helping others and making a positive impact, we would love to hear from you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work alongside the Registered Manager and Deputy Managers to lead shifts within the home.
- Provide direct support to individuals in their daily activities, including taking them to and from school, taking young people to social events, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Assist individuals with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and allowances.
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining social social skills and overcoming barriers.
- Collaborate with external providers the individual's needs are met.
- Document and maintain accurate records of the support provided.
- Monitor and report any changes to the individual's physical or mental health status.
- Promote independence and empower individuals to make informed choices about their own lives.
**Skills**:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Empathy and the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Patience and understanding when working with individuals who may have challenging behaviors or complex needs.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the individuals you support.

**Salary**: £24,960.00-£29,432.00 per year

Shift:
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
