**FEMALE SUPPORT WORKER REQUIRED. CASUAL. REF: 01/AYR/CS**

FEMALE SUPPORT WORKER REQUIRED TO ASSIST A LADY WITHIN HER OWN HOME AND IN THE COMMUNITY. HOURS TO BE DISCUSSED ON INTERVIEW. £10.90 per hour.

The lady has some health concerns and she finds life a little difficult at times. The lady lives in her home with her husband, children and dogs and requires a support worker/companion to help her navigate mental health issues and health ailments that can flair up from time to time. Due to the Ladies health conditions it would be preferred if a worker had already been vaccinated.

When the lady is feeling well she enjoys music, learning to play musical instruments and singing. The garden and nature give her great comfort and she enjoys pottering around in the garden or going on little walks when she feels up to it. Keeping and active and lively mind is important to the lady and she is involved with many voluntary roles.

Someone experienced in motivating and supporting someone who can at times feel low or down would benefit the lady in life, help to make it a little fuller. The lady enjoys going for a swim at times and this may be part of your support with her. A love of dogs would be advantageous as there are two in the family home. Support with daily tasks would encourage the lady to feel she was able to achieve simple things and this alone would make her feel better within herself.

The lady has a very active mind and would appreciate someone who has good conversation and a positive outlook on life.

Confidentiality would be paramount in this role as you would be working in a family home.

All staff employed would be required to use lateral flow testing kits and wear PPE where and when appropriate.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £10.90 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week
