What does a Business Support Officer - Resettlement Team do at Hillingdon?

A 6 month fixed term contract.

Delivering of complex administrative support to front line service areas, meeting performance targets and embedding a culture of “Putting our residents first” where continuous service improvement is maintained.

Key Responsibilities include:

Deliver a skilled and flexible administration support service across the directorates, and to react to peaks and troughs of work in any council location as required To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for meeting tight deadlines and committed to high standards of customer care Deliver administrative support to the Team that assists operational managers and staff with delivering enhanced services to residents, including any service-specific requirements Team meeting organisation and preparation, taking meeting minutes, updating core database systems, being the first point of contact for the team caseload, and managing bring-up/bring forward systems

About you

You need to be educated to GCSE level or equivalent with experience of supporting multi disciplinary teams and prioritising high volumes of work. A team player who is used to dealing with members of the public and sensitive situations.

Key skills/ experience to evidence within your application:

Excellent ICT skills including Microsoft Office suite Experience of dealing with members of the public Prepared to work flexibly to meet the needs to the department
